The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia, passing right through the heart of Balingup!

Golden Valley Tree Park, Balingup
A unique collection of beautiful and interesting trees from all over the world, grown in a landscaped setting. The park is a heritage listed site with a multitude of trees that began growing over 100 years ago. It is the largest arboretum in WA. Fine views of Balingup from the hilltop in the Australian section. Many walk trails; of varying degrees of difficulty, picnic area and toilets. Free entry but a donation would be appreciated. Old Padbury Road, Balingup (2kms south of the town)
